I recently got home from a trip out to Victoria, BC, visiting some friends and doing some much needed "soul dawdling." So great to be in a fresh place, with different colors and warm friendship. Having sweet one year old Calista Mae as part of my holiday was also delightful. Nothing like a child to help you learn to be more of one yourself... Here's some snippings from my picture album:

My greatest shopping find at Liquidation World! Absolutely hilarious- in each game you start out as a wealthy healthy person, but then your life goes downhill as you become a drinker/smoker, paying massive medical bills etc. Where did these come from?
As usual, after a great vacation, I came home to a busy (but good) weekend. It's Sunday evening, and time for some more R&R.
For all my friends, may you find enough moments for your own souls to "dawdle"... It's a good feeling!

beautiful pics, Carla....
Nice pics.
I am starting a week of vacation but we are staying here at home and having family come here for thanksgiving. I just started my time off about 10 minutes ago with a youngs chocolate stout. I would have to say that I was quite impressed with your recommendation.
Hey check out my blog for the first pic of my baby.

very nice pictorials. the wild things - are those games/magazines/something else? whatever the case, they look AWESOME
Hello anonymous- Those wild things are games! And yes, I would concur that they are awesome. :) I have no idea where you could find them, unless you go to Liquidation World in Victoria.
I love your pics... you have a good eye.
Finally, a couple games that are not only fun , but practical too. Sure, games like yahtzee, scrabble, and chess are good games, but they teach you nothing about the 'real' world... hehehe... I'm just kidding, but I would like to try those games.
Carla, when are we going to play those great games you found?? Forget "Settlers of Catan." I'll bring my pipe and we'll play the Smokers game.
