Downside- Upside

On the downside of today, I did not win one of the BIG grand prizes from becoming a CKUA sponsor. Boo hoo for me. And I thought it was my lucky year. So now I'm stuck paying this monthly committment, which I was more than happy to be giving them in the beginning of this whole affair, as I was so sure I was going to be winning a prize worth thousands of dollars in exchange. Now, all's I'm left with is "owning up to my committment" (pout pout). But I guess I also get to listen to the station guilt-free from now on. ;)

On the upside of today, STING was on Regis and Kelly!!!!!!!! Oh joy, so see him perform live a song from his new album, accompanied by a lute, as I sipped my morning coffee. Can't wait to listen to the whole album.

So I am sure as you can tell by now I do alot of this blogging stuf. I have a few blogs and several podcasts that I work on so I like to spend time checking out what other people have to say and you are off to a great start. I really enjoy the mix of this and that from your day as well as some deeper thoughts along the way.

OOOOOOO

My brother in laws brother did a review of stings new album and interviewed him for a web mag he works for so I got the hook up on the album a couple weeks ago. It's way good. I don't won't to compare it to his other work or tell you much untill you hear it for yourself, then we can talk about it. For me I just dont want to be told what to like or not like. My favorite wine is rated poorly and my fav musician is Ben Folds which would get a c rating at best by most people. So you take a listen figure out what you think then I will trade you thoughts.

Hey you can always check out my family blog at themaniesfamily.com or check out portablefaith.com thats a podcast that I work on with a freind. My other blog is down right now for a remodel. When its back up I will let you know.

Oh and keep dropping the posts :)

The downside... I've got nothing to say that is specific to this entry.

The upside... I'm still leaving a comment, and it's about chocolate beer.

...I've never heard of it before, but would love to try it. Chocolate and beer, sounds like a match made in heaven (However, I worry about a drink which has the power to intoxicate and is an aphrodisiac)... hehehe.

Peace out!
