Allow yourself the luxury of pausing in your weakness.

Feel your hunger, so you can be fed.

Handle carefully and awe-fully what is delicate.

Bend toward the light.

Did you make that up? ...at any rate, I like it.

I did make it up. Words to myself as much as anyone else. :) Thanks Lee.

I have tried bending towards the light and I know that I have walked a fair amount of time in the dark. Now I am far more content with the inbetween. Less squinting.

So I had to mention Ben before you knew it was me? Thanks I feel loved :(

Oh and no I wasn't at your senior concert but I visited you a couple weeks before and I will never forget you talking about the song and why you picked it. From there out it has made me think of you.

Sorry to have made you feel "unloved". It certainly wasn't intentional! Yes, Ben Folds always brings me back to junior year at Prairie and evenings with Andrew and Myron, eating pasta, playing sega, all that jazz. :) I hope you and Rebecca are doing well these days? Do you have any kind of blog going?

About the light, I think I like the idea that we don't really have to go anywhere to find it... It's there, we simply can bend towards it as we so desire. It's definitely a unique journey for each person, and darkness plays its part in it as well.
